To work with the Senior Community Youth Worker on this exciting project on the Stonegrove,
Spur Road and Penniwell Estate to meet the needs of young people 8-17 years.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering centre based and outreach sessions
- Taking overall responsibility for 8-11 years work
- Managing a team of volunteers
You will preferably need:
- NVQ (or equivalent) Qualification in Youth Work or willingness to work towards one
- One year of youth work experience either paid or voluntary
- To be flexible in working evenings and weekends
You will receive:
- A salary of £9,880 (£9.50 an hour 20 hours a week)
- Training, support and encouragement
- An opportunity to make a real difference to young people’s lives
